ISRO MISSIONS 2025 LIST FOR COMPITITIVE EXAMS.
1) NVS-02 Mission
Date: 29 January 2025
Rocket: GSLV-F15
Satellite: NVS-02
Purpose:
The NVS-02 satellite is part of India’s NavIC (Navigation with Indian Constellation) system. It provides accurate positioning, navigation, and timing services for civilian, strategic, and disaster-management applications across India and the surrounding region.
2) EOS-09 Mission
Date: 18 May 2025
Rocket: PSLV-C61
Satellite: EOS-09 (Earth Observation Satellite)
Purpose:
EOS-09 is designed for earth observation and remote sensing. It supports applications such as agriculture monitoring, land-use mapping, urban planning, environmental monitoring, and disaster management.
3) NISAR Mission
Date: 30 July 2025
Rocket: GSLV-F16
Satellite: NISAR (NASA–ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar)
Purpose:
NISAR is a joint mission of ISRO and NASA. It uses advanced radar imaging to study Earth’s surface changes, including earthquakes, landslides, glaciers, forests, and climate-related processes.
4) CMS-03 Mission
Date: 2 November 2025
Rocket: LVM3-M5
Satellite: CMS-03
Purpose:
CMS-03 is a communication satellite launched to enhance India’s telecommunication, broadcasting, and broadband services, especially in remote and underserved regions of the country.
5) BlueBird Block-2 Mission
Date: 24 December 2025
Rocket: LVM3-M6
Satellite: BlueBird Block-2
Purpose:
BlueBird Block-2 is a commercial communication satellite launched by ISRO for an international client. Its purpose is to provide direct mobile broadband connectivity and strengthen ISRO’s role in the global commercial launch market.
